Russell Crowe is The Pope’s Exorcist. Inspired by the true story of Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, The Pope’s Exorcist is exclusively in cinemas April 14th.
The film stars Russell Crowe, aged 58, as Gabriele Amorth, a real-life Catholic priest and official exorcist of the Catholic church. In the movie, Amorth receives a mandate from the Pope to conduct an exorcism and uncovers a significant conspiracy within the Vatican.
As Amorth progresses with his inquiry, he discovers a centuries-old conspiracy that involves the same demon the Catholic church had previously encountered.

The upcoming movie cast includes – Franco Nero, known for his roles in Django and John Wick: Chapter 2, will play the title role of the Pope. Russell Crowe will star as the real-life exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth. The film also boasts a talented supporting cast, including Laurel Marsden of Ms. Marvel fame, Cornell S. John from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney, Alex Essoe from Doctor Sleep, and Daniel Zovatto from It Follows.
