Til Death Do Us Part marks Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick’s third go around with director Timothy Woodard Jr. The first two collaborated back in 2018’s The Final Wish, then in 2020’s The Call, and now they are bringing us bloody action in Til Death Do Us Part, which I like to describe as a multi-genre film with plenty to offer everyone. And yes, there is a chainsaw in this movie!

Jeffrey Reddick is an American screenwriter, film director, and producer best known for his work in the horror genre. Reddick gained significant recognition for creating the highly successful Final Destination film franchise. The original Final Destination film, released in 2000, became a box office hit and spawned several sequels. The concept of cheating death and facing unforeseen consequences became a signature of the series.

Besides Final Destination, Reddick has been involved in various horror projects. He wrote and directed the supernatural thriller Tamara in 2005, which centers on a vengeful high school student who returns from the dead. Jeffrey Reddick’s contributions to the horror genre have made him a respected figure in the film industry. His work often explores themes of fate, mortality, and the supernatural, captivating audiences with suspenseful storytelling and inventive plot twists.

Til Death Do Us Part is now playing in theaters nationwide, and Reddick joined me for a chat to discuss working with Timothy Woodard Jr. I had the chance to travel back in time and speak to him about working at New Line Cinema and founder Bob Shaye, it was indeed a wonderful conversation, and of course, there wasn’t enough time to cover everything. I hope you enjoy and discover something you may not have known before.
This piece was written during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, Til Death Do Us Part being covered here wouldn’t exist.
