American Horror Story Delicate Drops New Promo and Release Date!

American Horror Story may be one of the best horror tv shows that network television has bestowed upon us. Not to say that every season makes a perfect landing, some don’t even clear the bar. But the ones that do are downright amazing.
Each season bringing new themes and frights, while keeping our beloved cast members the same, makes for some great horror television. We can only hope that this season will rank up there with some of the best out there. Let’s be honest, we could all use a win.

FX has declared that the release date for American Horror Story Delicate will be September 20th, 2023. How exactly this season will top the literal apocalypse is anyone’s guess. But it does feature Kim Kardashian (Disaster Movie), so that’s something.

Information about this season is somewhat sparse, but we do know that it will be loosely based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming book Delicate Condition. If baby themed horror is something you are looking for then enjoy the following description.
“The season is titled Delicate and is based, at least in part, on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition. Out in August from Sourcebooks Landmark, the novel is described as a gripping thriller about a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.”

This season will also feature the amazing Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers) as well as the very talented Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad).
That’s all the information that we have for you right now. As always, make sure to check back here for updates and all of your horror news.

‘Living For The Dead’ Trailer Scares Up Queer Paranormal Pride

With all the ghost-hunting reality content available from Discovery+, Hulu is stepping up the genre with their take called Living for the Dead in which a team of five queer paranormal investigators travel to different haunted locations to raise the spirits of both the living and the dead.
The show at first appears to be a run-of-the-mill ghost-hunting procedural, but the twist is that these researchers also help the living cope with their hauntings. That kind of tracks since this show is from the same producers as Netflix’s Queer Eye, another reality show where the hosts help people find peace and acceptance.
But what this show has that Queer Eye doesn’t is an “A” list celebrity producer. Kristen Stewart plays the showrunner here, and she says the concept originally was meant as a gag.
“It’s so cool and enlivening that me and my best friend CJ Romero had this funny idea and now it’s a show,” says Stewart in a press release. “It started as a bit of a hypothetical silly pipe dream and now I am so proud to have shepherded something that is as moving and meaningful as it is truly a gay old time. Our cast makes me laugh and cry and they had the courage and heart to take us places I wouldn’t go by myself. And it’s a super cool maiden voyage for the company I’ve started with my partners Dylan Meyer and Maggie McLean. This is just the beginning for us and for ‘Living for the Dead.’ We wanna one day have traipsed across the entire spooky ass country. Maybe the world!”
Living for the Dead,” a Huluween original docuseries, premieres all eight episodes on Hulu Wednesday, October 18.

Hulu Gets Groovy And Will Stream Full ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ Series

Bruce Campbell wasn’t involved in his own Evil Dead franchise this year except for his voice on the phonograph record in Evil Dead Rise. But Hulu isn’t letting this season go by without a visit from “the chin,” and they will stream the entire Starz series Ash vs. Evil Dead on Sunday, October 1.
The series was a hit among fans. So much so that it lasted three seasons, adjusted for streaming app inflation, that’s like five. Still, it would have been great if Starz had taken its Geritol and kicked ass for a final season to wrap things up.
This past July Bruce Campbell stated due to the physical constraints he could no longer continue his role as Ash Williams in the franchise that started over 40 years ago. But thanks to modern servers and streaming libraries his legacy will continue to live on for years to come.
Ash vs. Evil Dead the series will stream on Hulu starting October 1.

A “Retooled” ‘Dragula’ Gets Season 5 Release Date

Drag reality competition show Dragula and Halloween go hand in hand. The Boulet Brothers, Dracmorda and Swanthula, created the series for drag artists to show off their filthy side while still remaining glamourous. The popular series streams on Shudder and they just announced their fifth season which they promise will be different than anything you have seen before.
The show will premiere Tuesday, October 31 on Shudder and AMC+
“We have created four seasons of the main show at this point, and just wrapped our first all-stars season with The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans” spin-off, and we consider all of that part of ‘Chapter 1’ of the Dragula story. With season 5, we are beginning a new and innovative new chapter of the show, and we’ve retooled and updated the format in an incredibly exciting way,” says Dracmorda.

This season expect more A-list judges: Mike Flannigan (Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass), David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer, Dune, Suicide Squad), author Tananarive Due, writer/director Kevin Smith, musician Jazmin Bean, and Scream star Matthew Lillard (Scream) and more to be announced later.
“Nobody is going to sail the ship with more passion than us, so we’ve taken over as the show’s directors for season 5, and we’ve brought in some incredibly talented new team members who are really elevating what you will see on-screen,” says Swanthula, the other half of the Boulet Brothers. “We’re going back to basics with the format, and focusing on the competition element of the show, the incredible artists that we’ve cast and the out-of-this-world looks they create each week, and of course, drag artists doing insanely terrifying and shocking physical challenges on tv. This is the best-looking season of the show yet, and I can’t wait for fans to see these new competitors. They are truly the most impressive drag artists I have ever seen on-screen.”
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with The Boulet Brothers to bring Shudder subscribers an all-new season of their beloved Dragula, which is set to be bigger and more outrageous than ever,” said Courtney Thomasma, EVP of Streaming for AMC Networks. “Can’t think of a better way to celebrate Halloween – one of our very favorite days of the year – and to keep the season alive and the party going for the rest of the year!”
The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula has become must-see television for horror, drag and reality fans alike. Showcasing some of the finest artists in the world specializing in the franchise’s four pillars of Drag, Filth, Horror and Glamour, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula has cultivated a devoted and continually growing fan base. 2022’s The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans all-star season was a huge hit for Shudder making The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula the most-watched series franchise on Shudder over the last year.
