It’s been 10 years since Jen and Sylvia Soska’s (aka Soska Sisters) cult hit American Mary hit theaters. The duo didn’t just direct the movie, they also wrote the screenplay and produced it. Now the twins have confirmed that their movie is becoming a television series.

Sharing a Movie Web post about the announcement on their Twisted Twins Productions’ social media pages. They confirmed:

The details of how, where, and when are not readily available, and nothing has been confirmed about Katherine Isabelle returning to the title role, which has people wondering given the ending of the movie if it’s even possible.

In celebration of their decade milestone, Sylvia wrote a statement of appreciation to their fans:

“When Jen & I made the film, we wanted people to have the same experience with otherism as us, that what you look like isn’t what you should be judged on.

From artwork to cosplay to fan fiction, you have all given this film a life it couldn’t have had any other way. We have been working on adapting the film into a series, but first we are making Unseen with the same wonderful producers.

In the meantime, we have created a variety of American Mary Ten Year Anniversary items for your collection and to celebrate a decade of modification!” —- Sylvia Soska, Facebook

The duo has a strong social media presence. They update their followers on upcoming projects and sometimes allow fans to take a peek behind the scenes of their movies. They even offer people personal messages via Cameo.

Their latest film On the Edge premiered at the London FrightFest Halloween festival this past October.
