The lineup covers complete franchise runs from start to finish, which means if you have always wanted to sit through all ten Hellraiser films in order, Pluto TV has decided to make that very easy for you. All ten. Including the ones that happened. You know which ones I mean.
What’s Actually on There
The film collection is genuinely good. Friday the 13th parts one through eight. Paranormal Activity one through six. Scream one through three. Children of the Corn one through nine, which means Pluto TV is committed to the bit in a way that deserves some respect.
Beyond the franchise blocks, there is a solid Stephen King run with Christine, Cujo, The Dead Zone, and Silver Bullet all in there. Evil Dead II and the 2013 Evil Dead are both available, which means you can do the full argument about which one is better in real time.
The series side has Twin Peaks, The X-Files, The Twilight Zone, Dark Shadows, and Ghost Hunters, among others. If you have been putting off watching any of these, Pluto TV has now run out of excuses for you.
The X-Files Situation Deserves Its Own Section
On April 20, all 11 seasons of The X-Files go live in order on a dedicated channel, with the full series on demand alongside it. Pluto TV is also sending one fan to an undisclosed facility in Joshua Tree to marathon the entire series off-grid for something called “The Fan Is Out There.” Someone applied for this. Someone packed a bag, arranged cover for work and their pets, and drove to a mystery location in the desert to watch The X-Files alone for however many days it takes.
