The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game is well on its way to gamers. The game looks incredible and looks to be very faithful to the film. The game’s trailer featured some big moments that let fans know what kind of game its going to be. In the latest Chainsaw news, three new cast members have joined the games lineup and each of them are big horror community personalities in their own right. You will be able to play as characters voiced by Scout Taylor-Compton, Kristina Klebe and Sean Whalen.

The new voices’ names should sound familiar since they range from Rob Zombies’ Halloween to Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs.

Gun Interactive’s Ronnie Hobbs and Wes Keltner have gone on record to explain that the game will take place prior to the events of the first film. It will feature the big names from the film, like The Hitchiker, The Cook and Leatherface. However, it will also features new faces that were invented by original TCM writer Kim Henkel. That’s really exciting news. I’m interested to see what those character designs are going to look like.

A young lady named Maria Flores, is a college student at the University of Texas, and she is really the catalyst of the main character that sets all the events in motion. She loves to go and see the Texas wildflowers during wildflower season. Unfortunately, on one of her trips she runs into a family member who we haven’t revealed yet, a new one, and it’s their encounter that leads Maria’s sister and her friends to come searching for poor Maria. Unfortunately, she’s not alive anymore, she’s not a playable character, but her friends are and her sister.”

There is still no actual release date for Texas Chainsaw Massacre but we are really looking forward to getting our hands on it. It’s also great to know that Gun Interactive has been putting together a fantastic line up of voice actors.

Greg Nicotero’s Leatherface Mask and Saw Revealed in New ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Teaser

Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has given us one heck of a game. The entire cat-and-mouse matches between the Family and the Victims has been a blast to navigate. Each character is fun to play as but it always comes back to Leatherface. Playing as him is always a blast. In our first bit of DLC make-up FX artist and filmmaker, Greg Nicotero gives us a new mask, a new saw, and a brand new kill. This new bit of DLC is coming in October and will cost $15.99.

The arrival of make-up designed by Nicotero is a cool one. The entire design is really cool. From his bolo bone tie to his mask designed with the mouth fixed to where Leatherface’s eye peers through.

Of course, the saw is very cool too, and has the very cool bonus feature of being named a Nicotero saw. Which somehow fits perfectly as the name of a chainsaw.

“What’s so rewarding about working alongside Greg is his wealth of knowledge, his experience with practical effects, makeup and the art of creature creation.” said Wes Keltner, CEO and President of Gun Interactive. “He’s touched so many horror franchises over the years, it just made sense to bring him on board. And when the two of us get together, it’s like kids in a candy store! We had a blast working on this, and bringing that vision to life is something both Gun and Sumo are very proud of.”

Greg Nicotero’s DLC arrives this October. The full Texas Chainsaw Massacre game is out now. What do you think of the new mask? Let us know in the comments section.

‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s’ Zombie Trailer Introduces an Open-World and Operators

Zombies

This marks the very first time that Zombies come to the world of Modern Warfare. And it looks like they are going all out and adding an entirely new experience to the gameplay.

The new zombies-based adventure will take place in big wide-open massive worlds similar to Modern Warfare II’s DMZ mode. It will also feature operators similar to those in Warzone. These operators combined with an open-world mechanics are sure to bring an entirely new experience to the classic zombies mode that fans are used to.

Zombies

Personally, I believe that this new update is exactly what the Zombies mode needed. It was due for something to mix it up and this is a very nice way to do it. DMZ mode was a lot of fun and I think that this will be the thing to shake up the world of zombies and get folks interested all over again.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III arrives November 10.

‘Mortal Kombat 1’ DLC Teases Big Horror Name

Published

Mortal Kombat 1 may have just been released but already creator of Mortal Kombat and Injustice, Ed Boon is making plans for exciting DLC. In one of Boon’s latest Tweets, he gave a huge tease that wasn’t very subtle in nature. But, it points to a big horror icon coming to to Mortal Kombat 1.

Boon’s Tweet was a black-and-white image of all the biggest horror icons. Each icon came with check marks over icons who have been previously added and question marks over the ones that hadn’t yet been added.

This leaves Pinhead, Chucky, Michael Myers, Billy, and Ghostface all with question marks. All of these characters would be cool editions to the latest title. Especially someone like Pinhead.

Earlier this year a data spill pointed to Ghostface appearing in an upcoming title. It looks like that upcoming title may have been Mortal Kombat 1. We will have to wait and see to find out for sure. But, including a Ghostface capable of performing all kills from the full franchise would be awesome. I can already picture a garage door kill.

Who would you like to see in the latest game? If you could only choose one, who would you think it was?
