Last week, a mysterious movie trailer was released by Neon that had people freaking out at how creepy it was. The interesting part was that it didn’t give us a name for the film and only left us with clues to figure it out. Neon has now released another teaser for this mysterious horror film, and you can check it out below.
This new teaser shows us more clues as to what this film may be. We see an FBI agent discovering something underneath the floorboards which would coincide with the film Longlegs by Neon which follows the story of “FBI Agent Lee Harker who is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes an unexpected turn, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again.”
The first trailer showed an image of a creepy family smiling hard and a 911 call where a man says, “That’s not my daughter”. It then proceeds to a picture of a girl lying on the floor with long legs and an extra arm lying beside her. This would also go hand in hand with the title of the movie being Longlegs. The movie is being directed by Oz Perkins who is the son of Anthony Perkins (Psycho Series). He is known for his films Gretel and Hansel (2019) and The Blackcoats Daughter. The film stars Nicolas Cage (The Pig, Renfield), Maika Monroe (It Follows, Watcher), Alicia Witt (Urban Legend, Dune), and many others.
This new teaser leaves us with more clues that us horror fans are trying to piece together to see which horror film this may be.
