MPX has announced the official U.S. digital release of I Know Exactly How You Die, the bold indie horror from filmmaker and star Rushabh Patel. Beginning April 7, 2026, audiences nationwide can rent or own the film on Digital HD platforms, including Prime Video and Fandango at Home. The film will also be available on DVD.
Blending psychological terror with dark humor, I Know Exactly How You Die delivers a meta-horror experience where creativity turns قاتastrophic. Patel stars as Rian Burman, a struggling writer battling heartbreak and crippling writer’s block. Desperate for inspiration, Rian retreats to a remote motel to finish his novel—only to find that the horrors he writes begin manifesting in real life.
As Rian crafts a story about Katie, a drug counselor on the run from a sadistic stalker, reality and fiction collide. At the same motel, the real Katie is hiding from a deranged ex–mailman turned serial killer. When their paths cross, the terrifying truth emerges: Rian’s manuscript may be dictating real-world events—including brutal murders.
With bodies piling up and the line between imagination and reality dissolving, Rian must confront the possibility that he is not just documenting horror—but creating it.
The film made its world premiere to a sold-out crowd at the Dances With Films NYC in January, earning early buzz for its inventive premise, shocking violence, and unpredictable storytelling.
