“Fire Fire Fire, Hiss” sounds like the box office cycle for the horror movie Longlegs but it’s actually the unhinged song from the movie sung by Nicolas Cage. It’s now available on YouTube to upset your eardrums all over again. See video below.

Longlegs was one of the most anticipated horror movies of the year bringing in an impressive $22 million in its opening weekend. Originally receiving a 100% Rotten Tomatoes critical score that number has since fallen to 86%.

Longlegs stars Maika Monroe as a young FBI agent on the tail of an unhinged serial killer named Dale Ferdinand Kobble aka Longlegs (Cage) who claims to be Satan. Their bloody game of cat and mouse leads to some unexpected revelations. It is directed by Oz Perkins, his fourth feature film.

Cage as Longlegs eerily sings “Fire Fire Fire, Hiss” in the movie which only adds to its unhinged atmospheric dread. It could be described as a lullaby for a bad night’s sleep. His fluctuating falsetto is reminiscent of 70s offbeat singer Tiny Tim. But Cage says his mother is actually the inspiration for the character.

The song has been marketed as: “The last known musical recording by Dale Ferdinand Kobble before the voices took over.”

Nicolas Cage’s next film is currently in post-production. It’s called The Gunslingers and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025.
