Freddy Krueger is back in the latest fan film, Dylan’s New Nightmare. This awesome entry brings back A New Nightmare’s Dylan Porter (Miko Hughes) for a second run-in with the dream demon. The team behind Never Hike Alone is now turning their sites to telling a new story within the world of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Director Cecil Laird’s project would bring back Dylan Porter who begins to once again become haunted by Krueger after 25 years.
The entire thing is looking fantastic from these first images. Our favorite thing about the new project is Nora Hewitt’s incredible makeup fx work in bringing Krueger back to life. Hewitt was the winner of Face Off Season 9 by way of her incredible work.
Dylan’s New Nightmare is currently on IndieGoGo seeking backers. We are hoping that this project comes together quickly. It already had a setback due to COVID and we have been eagerly awaiting its arrival.
