Last month was worst October has had in box office sales for almost 30 years (excluding the pandemic).
What will November bring? Probably better receipts since Wicked: For Good is releasing at the end of it. But what about horror? Fans didn’t exactly come out in droves to support Black Phone 2 – and it was Halloween!
Maybe this month’s titles will get them back on track, especially with a new Oz Perkins movie and a new Stephen King adaptation coming out. There are few horror movies releasing for the small theater crowd, too, although those might do better on VOD honestly.
Either way, here is a list of horror movies coming out in November. Get those popcorn buckets!
Predator: Badlands (Nov. 7)
set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
The Beldham (Nov. 7)
A new mother returns to her childhood home, only to face a malevolent, age-old entity lurking in the walls. As the haunting escalates, she’s pushed to the brink to protect her baby—and her mind.
Keeper (Nov. 12)
A wife becomes isolated in a secluded cabin and has to fend off an unspeakable evil.
The Carpenters Son (Nov. 12)
A remote village in Roman-era Egypt explodes into spiritual warfare when a carpenter, his wife and their child are targeted by supernatural forces in The Carpenter’s Son. Joseph (Nicolas Cage), Mary (FKA twigs) and their teenage son Jesus (Noah Jupe) have lived for years under threat, clinging to their faith and traditions.
But a stopover in a small settlement unleashes growing chaos when a mysterious stranger (Isla Johnston) tries to entice young Jesus to abandon his devout father’s rules. With every pull of temptation, the boy is lured into a forbidden world, as a terrified Joseph realizes that a demonic power is at work. Violent, unnatural events inexplicably follow Jesus, and he begins to experience nightmarish visions of the future. Finally, he learns the fearsome truth about his new playmate, as well as the child’s real name: Satan.

Desperate to save his sick daughter, working-class Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is convinced by the show’s charming but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort. As ratings skyrocket, so does the danger, and Ben must outwit not just the Hunters, but a nation addicted to watching him fall.
