The new horror movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey reworks a childhood classic in the most violent of ways.
These days everything seems a bit topsy turvy, so I guess Winnie the Pooh becoming a slasher maniac is just par for the course. Every now and then a well-known beloved character slips into the public domain allowing that character to star in new creative works we would never see normally.
Much to Disney’s chagrin, earlier this year the lovable and bubbly Pooh bear entered the public domain. It didn’t take long for Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield to reimagine how we see the famous childhood character.
