The trailer for The Lake has given us a good look at a film filled with a monster eating a small town of folks. The entire trailer is filled with a lot of CG, but the story is one that is The Host meets Godzilla.
The synopsis for The Lake goes like this:
One child brought back a strange egg, until realized that it was a monster egg. It emerged from the lake. and kill everyone in the whole town.
The Lake only has a release date for Thailand on August 18. However, there is no release for the states just yet.
We are going to have to wait to discover more on The Lake, but we are already very interested in a giant kaiju creature. We will be sure to keep you updated on more when and if there are more details.
