Taylor Swift’s Revenge Anthem Sets the Tone for Prime Video’s New Thriller ‘Wilderness’ [Trailer]
Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” seamlessly complements this new thriller as if it were its own cinematic music video. Prime Video’s upcoming thriller series, Wilderness, has chosen this revenge anthem as its soundtrack, hinting at the intense emotions and plot twists viewers can expect.
At the heart of Wilderness is the journey of a British couple, Liv and Will. Imagine setting off on a picturesque road trip across America, visiting iconic locations like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and the glitz of Las Vegas. Sounds dreamy, right? But what if, just before the trip, Liv discovers Will’s infidelity? The entire tone of the trip takes a dark turn. Based on B.E. Jones’ novel, the series delves deep into the complexities of a relationship marred by betrayal. As the couple attempts to rekindle their bond, Liv’s thirst for revenge becomes the central theme.
The series is graced by a stellar cast. Jenna Coleman, known for her role in “Doctor Who,” takes on the character of Liv. Oliver Jackson-Cohen from “The Haunting of Hill House” plays Will. The cast is further enhanced by the talents of Eric Balfour and “Pretty Little Liars” star, Ashley Benson.
Mark your calendars for September 15, when “Wilderness” makes its debut on Prime Video.

‘Presumed Innocent’ Trailer: 90s-Style Sexy Thrillers Are Back
Jake Gyllenhaal might be Presumed Innocent, but in this official trailer for the eight-part AppleTV+ series the evidence is to the contrary. Fresh off of his Amazon stint as a barroom cooler in Road House, Gyllenhaal is going from blue-collar to white-collar in his latest project produced by David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams.
Based on the 1987 book by Scott Turow, this is the latest adaptation of that legal thriller—the first being in 2000 starring Harrison Ford. “It tells the story of a horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorneys’ office when one of its own is suspected of the crime.”
The 90s provided movie-going audiences with lots of sexy thrillers. Perhaps the most famous being Basic Instinct. From there Hollywood kept churning them out. They were mostly set in places with procedural tasks, such as a law firm or police precinct. But they always had a sex scene.
By the look of the Presumed Innocent trailer, it seems we are getting a callback to those days. The cast also includes Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, and Peter Sarsgaard. The first two episodes will premiere on AppleTV+ on June 12.
