Eric Draven is back from the dead once again. The Crow reboot is just around the corner, and we just received the first taste of the action to come. While the first full length trailer doesn’t drop until tomorrow, a teaser trailer was released this morning.
The Crow will be released in theaters on June 7, 2024. The reboot comes to us from director Rupert Sanders (Ghost in the Shell) and writers James O’Barr (The Crow), Zach Baylin (King Richard), and William Josef Schnider (15-40).
Although fans likely have a good idea of what to expect from the film, The Crow has the following synopsis:
Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
Will this film rekindle the passion fans once felt for The Crow franchise? Or will this reboot sizzle out like so many others that have come before it? Only time will tell.
