The king of the monsters is back yet again. Godzilla is the most recognizable kaiju in the world. Even people who have never seen a single one of the films could pick Godzilla out of a lineup.
The series has been extended and rebooted so many times that it’s hard to keep track of what’s canon or not at this point. And that’s not even getting into all the crossover movies. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Mothra, it just starts to get confusing at a certain point.
Luckily for us, Godzilla Minus One looks like it’s going back to its roots. This film will be set in Japan following World War Two when the country was at its lowest point. Unfortunately for them, Godzilla is going to make things even worse.
Info on the film is being kept very hush-hush at the moment. All we really know is that it is written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki (Parasyte).
