Netflix has released the chilling first six minutes of Wednesday Season 2—and it doesn’t waste any time diving into the horror. Premiered during the Tudum 2025 event, the clip shows Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams already in the middle of a new mystery, using her sharpened psychic abilities to expose a serial killer hiding in plain sight.

In true Addams fashion, Wednesday confronts none other than a serial killer known as the “Kansas City Scalper”—played by Haley Joel Osment—in a tense sequence that blends gothic style, eerie humor, and a showcase of her growing psychic abilities. With a blood-splattered finale and a signature smirk from Wednesday, the sneak peek teases a darker, more intense season ahead.

The scene sets the tone for a sophomore season that promises higher stakes, deeper mysteries, and a sharpened horror edge. Alongside Ortega, returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, and Victor Dorobantu. Newcomers like Steve Buscemi and Billie Piper are also joining the twisted halls of Nevermore Academy.

And in a reveal that sent some fans into a frenzy, Netflix confirmed Lady Gaga will appear later in the season as Rosaline Rotwood—a teacher with a terrifying reputation.

Season 2 of Wednesday will be split into two parts, with Part 1 premiering August 6 and Part 2 following on September 3. If these first six minutes are any indication, fans are in for a wickedly fun ride.
