Netflix Crashes After ‘Stranger Things 4’ Finale Drops

Published

on

You would think a powerhouse like Netflix could handle millions of people logging into the service awaiting the second volume of Stranger Things 4. But alas, that wasn’t the case, as millions flooded the servers to get that sweet, sweet finale to the penultimate season, the streamer went dark.

The problem happened at about 3 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time when the last two episodes dropped on the streamer. According to Variety, complaints started flooding in by the thousands before the company resolved the issue. That took about half an hour to resolve.

This season of Stranger Things has been a juggernaut for Netflix. It has become the number one English language series on the service. Squid Game is number one in the foreign-language category.

As this season of Stranger Things wraps up, we still have another to look forward to. But that’s going to have to wait until, well, we don’t know when — but it was renewed for a final fifth season this past February.

The question is, will series creators The Duffer Brothers be able to continue to recapture the magic the series has built and take it to the series finale?

We’ll have to see if fans think so and possibly crash Netflix again when that day arrives.

He Will Survive: ‘Chucky’ Season 3: Part 2 Trailer Drops a Bomb

Published

on

It’s official, Chucky’s old, but he’s not down for the count. In the new trailer for Chucky Season 3: Part 2, it seems that our ole’ friend till the end is finally on his deathbed with nothing left to do but go back from whence he came. But hold on, don’t film the sunset scene yet because there might be just a little more power in them batteries.

Season three was cut short last year thanks to the writer’s and actor’s strike. but SyFy just released the new trailer for its hit horror series and it ends with a blast. Literally, a blast!

Starting on April 10, our killer in the rainbow onesie is Chucking back and there is no shortage of blood! Here’s a little taste of the plot according to SyFy:

“…Old Chucky seems to find a new zest for… death. Even though he’s weaker than he’s been in a very long time, Chucky declares that he’s somehow ‘going for the nukes!’ Which shouldn’t be too hard, given that he’s infiltrated The White House, but still, a tall order even for someone with Chucky’s body count.”

The series has been a hit for the cable channel pulling in great ratings and reviews, a huge win for director and creator Don Mancini. His last motion picture in the franchise, Cult of Chucky, was released seven years ago. But he can give more to fans by using the small screen medium because of a smaller budget. That doesn’t mean the series is cheap looking, in fact, it might look a little better than some of the proper franchise films.

So get ready for the second half of Chucky’s third season, which premieres on USA and the SyFy Channel starting April 10.

The newest season of Charlie Brooker’s (Dead Set) dark anthology will feature six episodes, one of which will take fans back to a beloved location.

Netflix provided a small teaser for hungry Black Mirror fans: “USS Callister will return… Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning,”

That’s right, we’re going back to the USS Callister. This Black Mirror episode follows a disgruntled programmer who creates a simulation of a Star Trek style game using his coworker’s DNA to create clone copies of his real-world coworkers.
