The Walking Dead may have just ended but long live the undead king, because The Walking Dead: Dead City is already coming back with Negan and Maggie. The most unlikely team-up since John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Sure, Negan knocked Maggie’s lover’s eye out with a baseball bat. But, this too shall pass, it seems.
The latest teaser trailer focuses on both Negan and Maggie taking on a new kind of zombie and threat in Manhattan. The whole thing is obviously playing on big vibes from Escape From New York and we are liking it.
The synopsis for The Walking Dead: Dead City goes like this:
Reunited and it feels so good… Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) are back together and are headed to (what is left of) New York City. Can they put their differences aside and learn to trust one another?
The Walking Dead: Dead City arrives June 18.
