It might be unexpected—in a good way—that James Wan decided to take his killer doll, M3GAN, in a new direction. It’s apparent from the trailer that our sentient automaton hasn’t fully recovered from her glitch, but it’s nice she’s still protecting Cady.
More sci-fi action movie than slasher, M3GAN 2.0, directed by Gerard Johnstone, looks like a real thrill.
