Halloween Kills opened in theaters over the weekend and made a monumental $50 million. There was also a ton of discourse and name calling on social media. It appears that critics and audiences were torn on opinion. Was it good or was it bad? Was it brilliant or was it terrible?
Of course, we watched the film. I watched it more than once to make sure my opinions steadfast. But, we really wanted to hear what our readers thought about the film.
The synopsis for Halloween Kills goes like this:
The nightmare isn’t over as unstoppable killer Michael Myers escapes from Laurie Strode’s trap to continue his ritual bloodbath. Injured and taken to the hospital, Laurie fights through the pain as she inspires residents of Haddonfield, Ill., to rise up against Myers. Taking matters into their own hands, the Strode women and other survivors form a vigilante mob to hunt down Michael and end his reign of terror once and for all.
COVID put a big hold on this one hitting theaters and, I think part of that lead to the ravenous way people are either protecting or dogging on this film.
As we mentioned earlier, we would love to hear what you think about the film. Did you love it or hate it? What did you like about it? What didn’t you like about it?
