Guillermo del Toro is currently one of horror’s greatest gifts. He has the ability to turn anything he touches into something exceptional, as demonstrated by his latest series, ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, which was an absolute achievement. We always have confidence in his films, and we are keen to explore his recommendations. Recently, del Toro praised a Netflix film starring Aubrey Plaza, giving it high marks.
Guillermo del Toro was raving about ‘Emily the Criminal’ which stars Plaza and gives us one of her best roles to date. The entire film is a tightly wound tale of crime and sees a member of the middle class taking swings at success by way of crime. Though it’s not a horror film, if Guillermo del Toro gives it high praise, we believe it’s worth checking out.

Saddled with student debt and unable to find work, a college graduate becomes involved in a credit card scam, acting as a dummy shopper and buying increasingly risky products with stolen credit cards.
