Aubrey Plaza hosted this weekend’s Saturday Night Live and she was as magical and deadpan as ever. In one sketch Plaza brings back April Ludgate from Parks and Rec. along with Amy Pohler returning as Leslie Nope. But the real horror magic got turned up when she arrived as M3GAN 2.0.
The sketch is a hilarious queer sketch that has fun with a lot of dancing, a lot of strangling, and of course a lot of M3GAN. The whole sketch brings actual Tweets from the Queer Horror community and places them in the trailer to show the love for the killer plastic robot.
The entire thing is cool and all, but I can’t get over seeing Plaza as M3GAN. She plays the part entirely too well and we can’t get enough of her.

The synopsis for M3GAN goes like this:
M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a lifelike doll that’s programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. Designed by Gemma, a brilliant roboticist, M3GAN can listen, watch and learn as it plays the role of friend and teacher, playmate and protector. When Gemma becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she decides to give the girl an M3GAN prototype, a decision that leads to unimaginable consequences.
M3GAN is currently playing in theaters.
