Found footage films have become a popular sub genre in horror films, and those who are avid followers of it will probably have already heard of the titles below. For those who are on the fence, or seen the popular ones like Paranormal Activity or Host and nothing else, below is a list of lesser known titles that are actually pretty good.

Willow Creek (2013)
Jim and his girlfriend Kelly are in Willow Creek, California, to retrace the steps of Bigfoot researchers Patterson and Gimlin, who, in 1967, recorded the most famous film of the legendary monster. Kelly is a skeptic, along for the ride to spend time with her boyfriend between acting gigs. Jim, a believer, hopes to capture footage of his own, so his camera is constantly rolling.
Raised By Wolves (2014)
A Dark and Twisted Tale of Cult Horror. Uncover the chilling truth behind the Plainsong Massacre. In the summer of 1973, a charismatic cult leader brainwashed a group of teenagers into a murderous frenzy. Death of a Vlogger (2020)
A supernatural horror for the internet age. Part social commentary and part terrifying ghost story, the film follows vlogger Graham, as he uses his online platform to investigate a sinister haunting in his flat. As his efforts go viral, Graham’s grasp on reality begins to loosen, and paranoia and fear set in.

Paranormal Entity (2013)
