Tatum Matthew’s portrays an A.I. creation Cherry who was designed to catch online child predators in her newest film The Artifice Girl. Tatum’s A.I. character Cherry, comes across as bright, engaging, and all-in-all the real deal; these would-be predators won’t know the difference.

Tatum tackles a very complex character, and I found her performance quite remarkable as she has to work through some heavy dialogue with her counterparts. She also impresses as her character goes through some pretty distinct phases in the film’s three acts.

Tatum Matthews is one actress you will want to watch, as I can see her moving on to larger-than-life projects. Tatum began her career in local theater productions and wouldn’t mind working on some projects within the horror genre in the future.

Franklin Ritch wrote, directed, co-stared, and edited this film using the three-act play model, which worked out well for the film, and it paid off, always keeping track of the film’s central core.

Check out my interview below and find out what it was like portraying an A.I. and working with legendary actor Lance Henriksen.
