Well, Terrifier 2 chopped up the box office. The film with a small budget managed to lay waste to its competitors and set a new bar for violent, punk rock, slashers. Because of that success the film is being given all kinds of big pushes for a third film with a much bigger budget.
Writer-director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone are making the push for a third film that will double the budget of the second film. In fact the third Terrifier is said to receive a low-mid seven figure. A huge increase.
Plus filming is fixing to get underway sooner than later. Filming is expected to get underway in November or December of this year for release in late 2024. Art is coming sooner than later!
“Terrifier 3 will be another boundary pushing addition to the horror genre, continuing the no holds barred, uncompromising exploits fans of the franchise have come to expect and celebrate. Leone said. “If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part 2 was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
