Resident Evil Netflix Series Releases First Trailer

Resident Evil | Official Teaser | Netflix

Nothing eventful ever happens in the peaceful New Raccoon City.

The legendary franchise Resident Evil brings its battle for survival to Netflix on July 14th.

The eight-episode season premieres on July 14 and follows Jade (Ella Balinska) as she fights to live in a world overtaken by terrifying zombies, monsters, and all manner of evil.  It’s 2036 but, 14 years earlier, she, her sister, and her father Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick) were at ground zero in a place called New Raccoon City when the world, basically, ended.

Resident Evil will deliver on the zombie-infested terror of the games, with no lack of gruesome carnage, the lurking danger of Umbrella, and fleeting teases of Resident Evil’s quirkier side, as shown in Netflix’s first teaser trailer for the television series.

It seems like the initial reactions from fans online are not positive, but we’ll have to wait until July 14th to get a better idea of how this new series will pan out.  Here are a few reactions from the Netflix YouTube channel that posted the new trailer.
