y’all Eugene, Oregon has been going through a very odd series of events over the past few days, and for good reason. Owen Rose Garden City Park has blown up on social media as of late with photos of Clive Barker’s Pinhead brilliantly transformed into a playground slide.
This became so viral as of late that residents of Eugene have taken to social media and become very, very pissed off.
“These liberal sh*theads have gone too far this time.” A Eugene resident angrily posted to Facebook. “It’s clear they are trying to groom our children to be… Monsters. Satanic, evil monsters. They obviously want to normalize this sort of thing. And you know this abomination will just attract weirdoes to our nice little town. “
“Do we want to become a tourist destination for serial killers and occultists? In my opinion, NO.” Another angry resident commented. “We have to come together as a community and nip this in the bud before things get out of hand. Let’s send this horrific “children’s playground” back to hell. Or better yet – Portland. They like it weird there.”
Now, it didn’t take park regulars long to discover that this whole thing was indeed too good to be true. A big awesome prank orchestrated by artist Cabel Adams.
Adams had put this together in Adobe and then posted it. From there he let the dumb dumbs of Eugene do the rest as they picked up their torches and began looking for Frankenstein’s monster.
Adams’ Instagram is worth checking out. It is filled with more Adobe sculpts and none of them disappoint.
We wish that Adams’ sculpt was real. Heck, we wish that there was a whole Hellraiser park built with this aesthetic. We still seriously think that the entire thing is very rad.
