The trailer for Mike Flanagan’s next Netflix offering following The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor is finally here! Midnight Mass looks to be a doozy too. It definitely has some Stephen King Needful Things vibes sprinkled in places throughout the trailer. I’m a huge fan of the isolated coastal town centered films, so many things that can go wrong cut off from civilization. The trailer didn’t let us down, it gave us just enough mystery and meat to keep us hungry for more. Luckily, we don’t have to wait long. Midnight Mass lands on Netflix later this month.
The synopsis for Midnight Mass goes like this:
The tale of a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man (Zach Gilford) and the arrival of a charismatic priest (Hamish Linklater). When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community – but do these miracles come at a price?
Midnight Mass stars Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas, Annabeth Gish, Robert Longstreet, Alex Essoe, Michael Trucco, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman, Igby Rigney, and Annarah Cymone.
