Indie horror is alive and well and Sean Parker (not the Napster guy) is throwing his hat into the directing ring.

Teaming up with fellow Canadian and veteran filmmaker, Adrian Langley, the filmmaker behind Ash & Dust, Butchers, and director of Blue Fox’s upcoming release Bunker, the pair promises a throwback to the slashers of the 80’s and 90’s with their new project: I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead. You can see more about the project on their Indiegogo campaign here.

“Emily, a traumatized survivor of a tragic school massacre, is overwhelmed with PTSD and haunted by images of the killer. Hounded by the media on the anniversary of the killings, Emily is rescued by fellow student, Haley, who invites her to celebrate graduation with her friends in an old cold war bunker turned museum.

First Look – Killer- I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead

As the teens settle in for a fun filled night fueled by sex and alcohol, Emily distances herself from the group but it’s not long before the teens discover that the blast doors have been sealed and people have gone missing.

Isolated from the outside, the teens are dispatched one by one and Emily finds herself facing off against a relentless killer once more.”
