Dead

A week back we announced that Alien was coming to visit the realm of Dead by Daylight. Well, today we have our first official look at Ellen Ripley, the Xenomorph, and the Nostromo in the new Dead by Daylight teaser trailer.

The trailer introduces a crashed Nostromo with Ellen Ripley just now coming to. It doesn’t take her long to figure out that she is in trouble when she meets a bloodthirsty Xenomorph in the cryo chamber. The trailer reveals the cat-and-mouse nature of what to expect and it is looking very cool.

The synopsis for Dead by Daylight breaks down like this:

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed. Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness.

Dead

Over the years we have seen Pinhead, Ghostface, Freddy Krueger and more join the Dead by Daylight action. Now, we are seeing a much more tense and sci-fi version of the action.

Ellen Ripley and the Xenomorph arrives in Dead by Daylight beginning August 29.

Megan Fox Set to Play Nitara in ‘Mortal Kombat 1’

Published

Fox

Mortal Kombat 1 is shaping up to be an all-new experience that looks to transform the series into something new to fans. One of the surprises has been the casting of celebrities as the characters in the game. For one Jean Claude Van Damme is going to play Johnny Cage. Now, we know that Megan Fox is set to play Nitara in the game.

“She comes from this weird realm, she is a type of vampire creature,” Fox said. “She’s evil but she’s also good. She’s trying to save her people. I really like her. She’s a vampire which obviously resonates for whatever reason. It’s cool to be in the game, you know? Because I’m not really just voicing it, it’ll be like she’s kind of me.”

Fox grew up playing Mortal Kombat and is completely in shock that she is able to play a character from the game she was such a big fan of.

Nitara is a vampire character and after watching Jennifer’s Body it really does make for a nice crossover for Fox.

Fox will play Nitara in Mortal Kombat 1 when it releases on September 19.

‘RoboCop: Rogue City’ Trailer Brings Back Peter Weller to Play Murphy

Published

Rogue

RoboCop is one of the all-time best. The full-throttle satire is the film that keeps on giving. Director, Paul Verhoeven gave us one of the very best that the 80s had to offer. That is why it’s so great to see that actor Peter Weller is back to play RoboCop. It’s also very cool that the game borrows from the film by bringing TV commercials into the action in order to add some of its very own humor and satire.

Teyon’s RoboCop looks to be a wall-to-wall shoot ’em up. Literally, every screen has blood spurting from headshots or from other appendages flying off.

The synopsis for RoboCop: Rogue City breaks down like this:

The city of Detroit has been hit by a series of crimes, and a new enemy is threatening the public order. Your investigation leads you right into the heart of a shadowy project in an original story that takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3. Explore iconic locations and meet familiar faces from the world of RoboCop.

RoboCop: Rogue City is set to drop in September. With no exact date given, it is entirely likely that the game gets pushed back. Fingers crossed it stays on track. Expect it to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
