‘Creepshow’ Teaser Reveals Video Game Officially in the Works

A Creepshow gaming experience is in the works. The series that Stephen King and George Romero brought to life with Creepshow 1 and 2 is being given the interactive experience and we are beyond hopeful.
The short teaser for the Creepshow game features a new character in the box office giving us our stories of terror. Is this guy a buddy of The Creep? We will have to wait and see.
There are no details on what approach the gameplay for Creepshow will take. But, we are hopeful that it takes on the same anthology approach that the films and the series take. The art style of the trailer follows the aesthetic of the films as well.
The Creepshow game is being developed by Brian Clarke. If the name sounds familiar it is because he developed the very terrifying Mortuary Assistant.
The synopsis for 1982’s Creepshow went like this:
A compendium of five short but terrifying tales contained within a single full-length feature, this film conjures scares from traditional bogeymen and portents of doom. In one story, a monster escapes from its holding cell. Another focuses on a husband (Leslie Nielsen) with a creative way of getting back at his cheating wife. Other stories concern a rural man (Stephen King) and a visitor from outer space, and a homeowner (E.G. Marshall) with huge bug problems and a boozing corpse.

‘Dead by Daylight’ Video Shows Off Chucky and His Killer Moves in Action

Chucky keeps finding a way to return to the zeitgeist of pop culture. From his return to a series on SYFY to his return as a recent character in the popular horror game, Dead by Daylight. This game has seen a ton of horror icons appear in its ranks from Ghostface all the way to Michael Myers. Each of them comes with their own set of perks and moves. Plus, each of them is equally as fun and challenging to play with.
Chucky’s big perk is his ability to change into Hidey-Ho Mode. In this mode, he is undetectable by other players. He is also able to throw other players off by giving off fake prints on the map. Basically, Chucky’s moves are all built around trickery and of course murder.
The synopsis for Dead by Daylight breaks down like this:
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.
You can find Chucky in Dead by Daylight beginning, November 28 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

New Bloodborne Kart Game Set to Release Next Year

Do you like Victorian gothic settings mixed with religious symbolism and gruesome monsters? What if I told you that you could have all of that and ride around on a go-kart with a rifle sword? Welcome to the amazing world of Bloodborne Kart.
Bloodborne is considered to be one of the greatest games that FromSoftware has ever released. Its fast paced combat combined with its horror setting made it an instant classic within the gaming community. The game attracted even more players to the hardcore community that typically focused on Dark Souls, leading to the creation of the term Soulsborne for this specific subgenre of games.

Unfortunately, FromSoftware and Sony seemingly forgot about one of their most successful games. Since its release in March of 2015, there haven’t been any updates regarding a sequel to this beloved game. Although there have been some rumors circulating about a possible Bloodborne movie being in the works, fans have been left yearning for more content all of these years.
Luckily for them, an unlikely savior has come to deliver them something completely new, Bloodborne Kart. Lilith Walker (PSX Bunlith) has been working on a few Bloodborne related projects. One of those projects has finally received a release date. January 1st, 2024, players will be able to start tearing up Yarnham in true Soulsborne Fashion.

This clash of Mario Kart and Bloodborne will feature 12 playable characters, 16 different maps, a full single player campaign, and of course epic boss battles. And not to worry the game will also feature split screen races and a vs battle mode.
That’s all the information that we have on this project for now. Make sure to check out the new release trailer below. As always, make sure to check back here for all of your horror news and updates.

Chucky and Tiffany Come to ‘Dead by Daylight’

Dead by Daylight is a whose-who of horror icons at this point. It really does have a ton of icons throughout. From Michael Myers to Ghostface and beyond Dead by Daylight keeps adding really great characters to its lineup. This time around both Chucky and Tiffany are being added to the mix.
Brad Dourif is also joining the game in order to give voice to Chucky. You gotta love that Dourif is constantly taking over as the voice of Chucky every chance he gets.
“As you’d expect, Chucky is adept at sneaking around the map, and he has a Slice & Dice ability that lets him lunge at his larger would-be victims in order to more efficiently close the gap.” IGN noted. “His human form, Charles Lee Ray, can assist him in spirit form, and his Scamper ability lets him leap through windows and move under pallets.“
The synopsis for Child’s Play went like this:
Gunned down by Detective Mike Norris (Chris Sarandon), dying murderer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) uses black magic to put his soul inside a doll named Chucky — which Karen Barclay (Catherine Hicks) then buys for her young son, Andy (Alex Vincent). When Chucky kills Andy’s baby sitter, the boy realizes the doll is alive and tries to warn people, but he’s institutionalized. Now Karen must convince the detective of the murderous doll’s intentions, before Andy becomes Chucky’s next victim.
Chucky and Tiffany join Dead by Daylight beginning November 28.
