Lionsgate and Blumhouse are gearing up to release “Imaginary,” a horror movie directed by Jeff Wadlow, set to hit theaters on March 8, 2024. Starring DeWanda Wise, who also doubles as a producer, the film unfolds around Jessica and her family moving back into her childhood home. The plot thickens when her youngest stepdaughter, Alice, finds a peculiar stuffed bear, Chauncey, in the basement, and develops a disturbing attachment to it. What starts as innocent play morphs into something much more sinister, leading Jessica to discover that Chauncey is far more than a mere toy.
Director Wadlow, known for his work on projects like “Cry Wolf” and “Kick-Ass 2,” promises a film rich in terrifying visuals and jump scares.
