Arkane Studios and Marvel Reveal Rad Trailer for Blade

Published

on

Kojima

One of the biggest and most exciting moments from last night’s Game Awards was the unveiling of Arcane’s latest game, Blade! That’s right, y’all. Marvel is getting together with Arkane Studios in order to tell the tale of the Daywalker.

Blade

Arkane has been responsible for some of our favorite games over the last few years. They are responsible for Deathloop and Dishonored just to name a couple. So, the idea of a Blade game is very exciting. Mainly because we have seen what Arkane does with their special powers and perks in game. So, we already can’t wait to see the powers they unleash with Blade.

Not much is known at the moment other than the game will be a third-person experience that takes place in Paris.

The synopsis for Blade goes like this:

In Marvel’s Blade, Eric Brooks is the legendary Daywalker, half-man, half-vampire torn between the warm society of the living and the rushing power of the undead. From Bethesda and Arkane Lyon, the studio that brought you Dishonored and “DEATHLOOP”, Marvel’s Blade is a mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris, now in development in collaboration with Marvel Games.

We are already dying to see what Arkane and Bethesda does with Blade. It will undoubtedly be a huge and memorable experience. Marvel has been doing a great job of carefully brining their games to life. If you haven’t played Guardians of the Galaxy, please do. It is a singular experience that goes beyond the game films and gives us an all-new experience in the Guardians tales. We are sure that Arkane will give us another amazing Marvel chapter when Blade is released.

There isn’t any word on when Blade is going to be released. But, we will be sure to keep you updated as soon as we hear more.

Published

on

This is a horror game that you will get addicted to quickly. The indie game titled Buckshot Roulette has recently blown up among the gamer community and it’s easy to see why. The game states “Buckshot Roulette is a tabletop horror game that attempts to re-design the infamous game of Russian Roulette, replacing the traditional revolver with a proper 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. This extra firepower, and more importantly the different mechanics in handling a shotgun compared to a revolver, offers a fresh take on the classic and deadly game of chance. The game takes place at the top of an underground nightclub, where the metal railings tremble to the pulse of long-lost drum machines. A crooked AI dealer is waiting for you. Will you meet them?”

The game was created and developed by Mike Klubnika for Windows and Linux on itch.io. He is known for the horror games Unsorted VHS and The Other Side. First released on December 28th of last year, the game became a major hit in the gaming community and is streamed by several big-time gamers. The game’s ability to keep changing up on items you get dealt with and the randomness of the dealer AI is what keeps the game fresh with gamers.

One of the most interesting things about the game is the mysterious dealer. Not much is known about the dealer’s origins, but one thing in the game raises interest. One of these is the liability waiver that randomly pops up with God’s name at the bottom. It is covered in blood and raises the question of whether the dealer won against God or if the dealer lost and is forever trapped playing the roulette game.

The game is currently available to purchase on itch.io for only $1.20 for both Windows and Linux. Have you played this game yet and if so, did you enjoy it? Let us know in the comments below. Also, check out the trailer for the game below.
