‘Supernatural’: CW Boss Gives Disappointing Update About Series Revival
This is disappointing news to fans of the series. During an executive session with CW Boss Brad Schwartz, he stated: “We’ve had no discussions about any kind of spinoff…”. This seemingly confirms that no talks or any type of hope for a continuation of the series are happening anytime soon. Check out more of what he said and more about the Supernatural series below.
Schwartz stated: “We’ve had no discussions about any kind of spinoff. Supernatural was one of the Top 10 most-streamed shows last year. And it’s an incredible franchise with an incredible legacy, incredible history. We’re really excited about the new season of Walker with Jared Padalecki.”
Supernatural first aired back in 2005 and was a big hit among critics and audiences. The series currently sits at a 93% average Critic and 72% average Audience score. The show went on to produce a total of 15 seasons and finished its final season in 2020. Two spinoff series titled Wayward Sisters and Bloodlines had backdoor pilot episodes but failed to earn a series order. The prequel series titled The Winchesters premiered in 2022 and had one full season before being canceled.
While this is disappointing news, it is possible that a few years down the line they may consider bringing it back for a revival or spinoff series. What did you think about this news? Let us know in the comments below. Also, check out the trailer for the final season below.

Travis Kelce Joins Cast on Ryan Murphy’s ‘Grotesquerie’
Football star Travis Kelce is going Hollywood. At least that is what Dahmer Emmy award-winning star Niecy Nash-Betts announced on her Instagram page yesterday. She posted a video of herself on set of the new Ryan Murphy FX series Grotesquerie.
“This is what happens when WINNERS link up‼️ @killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie[sic]!” she wrote.
Standing just out of frame is Kelce who suddenly steps in to say, “Jumping into new territory with Niecy!” Nash-Betts appears to be in a hospital gown while Kelce is dressed as an orderly.
Not much is known about Grotesquerie, other than in literary terms it means a work filled with both science fiction and extreme horror elements. Think H.P. Lovecraft.
Back in February Murphy released an audio teaser for Grotesquerie on social media. In it, Nash-Betts says in part, “I don’t know when it started, I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s different now. There’s been a shift, like something’s opening up in the world — a kind of hole that descends into a nothingness…”
There hasn’t been an official synopsis released regarding Grotesquerie, but keep checking back to iHorror for further details.
