We’re zeroing in on the premiere of season six of “American Horror Story”. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and the rest of the cast and crew have been playing this season close to the hilt. And while “illusion” has been making the rounds recently in connection to the show, “American Horror Story: Misdirection” might be a better title for the current season.
One thing is certain, however. AHS has offered us some of the most entertaining and shocking moments in recent television history. Take a look at some of my favorites and don’t forget to let us know yours in the comments!
Tate Opens Fire on high High School
Both timely and shocking, the season one reveal of Tate’s (Evan Peters) rampage through his school was one of the most intense moments of the show’s history. I think I held my breath from the moment the first shots sounded and the students barricaded themselves in the library until the the final shot is fired. It was unflinching and raw in all the best ways.
Sister Mary Eunice McKee
The picture of innocence became the ultimate evil in Season Two of “American Horror Story”. From the very beginning, Sister Mary Eunice McKee (masterfully played by the chameleon-like Lily Rabe) was a shining light in the very dark Asylum. So of course, when Satan came to town, she was the ultimate prize to be gained. Watching the innocent young nun become the devil in the flesh was a sight to behold!
