The latest entry into the Insidious franchise, Insidious: The Last Key, is set to release on January 5, 2018. Universal has dropped the first trailer for the film and it looks to be another worthy entry into the Wan-produced ghost story.
Our favorite ethereal investigator, Dr. Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) is back and walking us down memory lane and through the jail-celled halls of The Further in this dynamic prequel.
A young Dr. Rainier played by Ava Kolker looks like she is coming to terms with her gifts, while her older self must go to deeper depths where she meets a menagerie of interesting supernatural beings. But there is one which may literally hold the key(s) to solving her current case.
The Last Key is directed by Adam Robitel, his second full-length feature since 2014’s The Taking of Deborah Logan.
