Kill Time and Stress With These Horror Adult Coloring Books!

Let’s Play – Short Horror Film of The Month

Written by Patti Pauley

The explosion in popularity of adult coloring books over the past few years is quite possibly, one of the greatest things to happen for us “bigger kids” who also have to perform stupid adulting. Although in my opinion, coloring is a true form of art and expression and should not be limited and acceptable in society’s eye strictly to elementary children, the trend of adult coloring books as a tool to relieve anger and stress in the form of both complex and hilarious pictures, (seriously, check out the farting animals coloring book; you won’t be disappointed) has become the norm among grown-ups looking to calm their tits after a stressful day of adulting. And what better way to do that than with slasher-style horror adult coloring books full of our favorite icons slicing up some poor victims!

Enter the Kill Time Coloring Book series.

Nothing sounds better to me than color-cussing the day away while adding some blood black- reds into a few coloring pages featuring an array of my favorite horror icons. The Amazon description of the coloring book by Horror Movie Classics adds, “This book is designed to give you peace of mind. Instead of cussing at the person that made you mad, color the anger way. Release the tension in your life by coloring some of the greatest horror kills of all time.”

Personally, I’d color the pages and throw them at the head, or down the throat, of said person who pissed me off, but I suppose that defeats the purpose doesn’t it? Anyway, you can pick up these gems from Amazon for only $6.99 and free shipping for Prime members; which is a pretty solid deal if you ask me.

Volume One contains classic Jason Voorhees and fan-favorite Friday the 13th kill scenes. So that one would be ideal in stress relief coloring therapy while imagining the spilled blood of thine enemies.

Volume Two offers a variety of slashers and classic horror icons in their iconic settings. Slashers such as Freddy Krueger, Chucky, Michael Myers, and Leatherface take over the pages in this edition. If you crave more variety, I’d suggest this one for sure.

With Easter peeping its head around the corner, these would be a radical idea for Easter basket stuffers for your horror-head friends and family. Because nothing says I care like a some coloring pages featuring severed heads!
