Published

We here at iHorror love to keep our readers up to date on the latest films no matter how obscure they may seem and we aren’t going to hold back with this newest slice of heaven, Close Calls. Directed by Richard Stringham and Associated Produced by P.J. Starks (Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories) Close Calls brings us a story that appears to be a throwback to When A Stranger Calls, or at least that is the vibe that I received after my initial viewing of the teaser trailer. Knowing that Starks is part of this film, I forsee nothing but blood and terror in store for us die hard horror fans. Starks recently completed Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories, which was a bloody anthology delivering terror in every frame.

We will keep you updated on the progress of this film, be sure to check back.

From The Press Release:

Close Calls features a troubled teen girl (Morgan) who is forced to stay home and tend to her crazy grandma after being grounded by her father. But when daddy leaves for a dinner date, Morgan’s paranoia heightens as she starts receiving several disturbing phone calls while dealing with grandma. Between all the phone calls, the drugs she has taken, and surprise visits from some unexpected guests, Morgan now thinks everyone around her is out to kill her. And to make matters worse … she keeps forgetting to give grandma her meds.

This upcoming feature-length horror film from S & Drive Pictures was produced and written by S & Drive’s founder, Richard Stringham, who started the independent production company in Sherwood, Arkansas. Vowing to make a retro horror piece that tipped its hat to heroes like Baya Argento, Hooper, Craven Kubrick and Lynch … Stringham assembled a local team of Arkansans to force Close Calls into existence. He also joined forces with Volumes of Blood creator P.J. Starks, who signed on as Associate Producer for the project.

Check Out The Teaser Trailer Below:

Close Calls

A new kind of psychedelic terror will soon be unleashed onto screens in Spring 2007 …

‘Fall’ Team Finds ‘Daybreakers’ Brothers to Helm Follow-Up

Published

on

The sleeper hit Fall (2022) is getting not one, but two sequels. Written and directed by Scott Mann, Fall was slow out of the gate thanks to a crunchy CGI trailer, but thanks to the performances, writing and outstanding direction, it found its footing to pull in seven times its original $3 million budget. That cashfall was mostly thanks to word of mouth and VOD.

The Spierig Brothers, Michael and Peter, are taking over the reins for Fall 2, with Mann returning to the director’s chair for its sequel Fall 3.

The Spierig Brothers delved into horror movies starting with Undead in 2003, and after that the apocalyptic vampire action thriller Daybreakers (2009). Perhaps their biggest break was getting to add to the Saw universe in 2017 with Jigsaw which led them to Winchester (2018) starring Helen Mirren.

Variety got a statement from the directing duo, in which they said, “We’re extremely excited to helm the second installment of this franchise and bring to life another nail biting, vertigo inducing thrill ride.“

Mann said he can’t wait for Flawless (his production company) to work with the brothers on this latest installment. “I am so proud to hand over the reins to the Spierigs, two highly respected genre directors whose addition will undoubtedly make this follow-up even more of a must-see experience than we already knew it would be.”

Fall 2 is written by Mann and his co-writer of the first film, Jonathan Frank. No plot details are being released at this time, however, movie site JoBlo has said some characters from the first film will return for the sequel.

So what do you think? Will lightning strike twice for Fall 2 and Fall 3 or was the first one enough for you? Let us know.

Baffling Footage of “Time Traveler” Captured on Ring Cam

Published

on

Some physicists think that time travel is possible and in a recent social media story we might believe them.

It all started when a homeowner named Alec Schaal checked his outside security camera remotely. He saw a young gentleman walking aimlessly around the yard seemingly looking for something. The trespassing individual with a backpack over his shoulder entered the homeowner’s tool shed and closed the door. It seemed like a simple case of unlawful intrusion. But as the homeowner reviewed the entire footage he noticed something strange and ended up calling the police.

It became a concern when the interloper never exited the shed. Worried, the homeowner had law enforcement check on the situation but the investigation turned up nothing: the stranger was nowhere to be found, he seemingly disappeared into thin air.

That would have been the end of it, but what happened next is even stranger.

The next day, someone who looks like the first guy emerges from the shed but he appears 30 years older!!

Since this weird story broke, Schaal’s TikTok has been blowing up and he has given several updates. Of course, some people are outright skeptical about the whole thing, while others want more proof which Schaal provides.

In the most recent update, Schaal says TikTok is trying to remove the story from his feed saying that it violates their guidelines about…gambling. He’s appealed but was declined.

Take a look at the videos for yourself and let us know what you think.

@alecschaal

I’ve literally watched this 1 million times and he never leaves. Where did he go? 😭👀
