Simon Rother has been a lifelong horror fan since he caught a glimpse of "Child's Play" at 5 years old and got hooked ever since. His favorite film of all time has been, and always will be, George Romero's "Dawn of the Dead" from 1978. Simon mainly writes reviews over the summer during Montreal's Fantasia International Film Festival. He has been attending the festival since 2009 when he first viewed "Dead Snow" and got swallowed up by the festival's atmosphere instantly. He has been reviewing films since 2012, has been accredited as media for the festival since 2018 for various horror movie websites in English and French, and has been representing iHorror at Fantasia since 2023.
