Walking Dead Finale Hilariously Explained By Twitter Gifs

Published

on

Written by Patti Pauley

Another Walking Dead finale has come and gone, and as I had previously mentioned in anĀ earlier article that it would be gory and epic per the cast and Gimple, it sure as hell did not disappoint! Almost more importantly, YOU, the fans on the Twitter space, did not let me down as I stalked the #WalkingDeadFinale hashtags as the show progressed last night. And I tip my hats to the lot of you, as in many areas of the episode had me in a glass case of emotions, a good portion of you had me laughing my fuckin’ ass off.

Spolier Alert! If you’re not caught up, don’t read any further!

OK, with the forewarning out-of-the-way, besides the bad ass goddess that is Shiva, the Walking Dead fans on Twitter were the real MVP last night. The psychological roller coaster that brought back a fan favorite in a dream state, to the betrayal from bad haircut, to the moment we’ve all been waiting for- the start of World War 3, zombie apocalypse style. TWD twitter tribe expressed their sorrows and excitement in the form of hilarious and on point gifs throughout the extended season 7 finale, and we’re going to highlight you committed folks to the show by sharing some of the best, and funniest tweets about last night’s episode.

When Sgt. Ā Abraham “Mother Dick” Ford, reappeared last night via Sasha’s flashback sequences and it just gave us all the feels.

This really awkward moment between bad haircut, Michonne, and Rick..

When Eugene the mullet machine uttered the worst words he could have to Rick..

Eugene.. You little asshole.

The reaction was unanimous.

Then the betrayal from Jadis and her trash can gang. Have to say I saw that one coming. Never trust someone with a bowl cut.

The moment we had an inkling was headed our way, but wasn’t emotionally prepared for..

However, it was pretty funny seeing Negan shit himself..

For a split second, we all thought Carl was done for.

And Negan’s reaction was priceless..

Seeing the Kingdom, the Hilltop, and Alexandria fight as a unit, was definitely a moment best described as this..

And I don’t know about you, but Shiva 100% stole the show last night. All hail the SHIVES!

Radio Silence No Longer Attached to ‘Escape From New York’

Published

on

Radio Silence has certainly had its ups and downs over the past year. First, they said they wouldn’t be directing another sequel to Scream, but their movie Abigail became a box office hit among critics and fans. Now, according to Comicbook.com, they won’t be pursuing the Escape From New York reboot that was announced late last year.

Ā Tyler GillettĀ andĀ Matt Bettinelli-Olpin are the duo behind the directing/production team. They talked with Comicbook.com and when questioned about Escape From New York project, Gillett gave this answer:

“We are not, unfortunately. I think titles like that bounce around for a while and I think they’ve tried to get that out of the blocks a few times. I think it’s just ultimately a tricky rights issue thing. There’s a clock on it and we just weren’t in a position to make the clock, ultimately. But who knows? I think, in hindsight, it feels crazy that we would think we would, post-Scream, step into a John Carpenter franchise. You never know. There’s still interest in it and we’ve had a few conversations about it butĀ we’re not attached in any official capacity.”

Radio Silence has yet to announce any of its upcoming projects.

Shelter in Place, New ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Trailer Drops

Published

on

The third installment of the A Quiet Place franchise is set to release only in theaters on June 28. Even though this one is minus John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, it still looks terrifyingly magnificent.

This entry is said to be a spin-off and not a sequel to the series, although it’s technically more a prequel. The wonderful Lupita Nyong’o takes center stage in this movie, along with Joseph Quinn as they navigate through New York City under siege by bloodthirsty aliens.

The official synopsis, as if we need one, is “Experience the day the world went quiet.” This, of course, refers to the quick-moving aliens who are blind but have an enhanced sense of hearing.

Under the direction of Michael Sarnoski (Pig) this apocalyptic suspense thriller will be released the same day as the first chapter in Kevin Costner’s three-part epic western Horizon: An American Saga.

Which one will you see first?
