Insidious: The Last Key

January 5th

Another jump into The Further of the popular supernatural horror franchise. Lin Shaye returns as Parapsychologist Elise Rainier returns to fight a new spiritual evil in New Mexico, finding herself at her old, haunted, family home where dark secrets lay buried.

A group of scientists are sent through an otherworldly gate to investigate after the first group of soldiers sent in were viciously attacked by mysterious forces.

The Strangers: Prey at Night

March 9th

Another long-overdue sequel finally coming to life in 2018. The masked strangers Dollface, Pin-Up Girl, and Man in the Mask are back and with fresh victims in their sights. This time, terrorizing a family in an isolated trailer park.

A Quiet Place

April 6th

A family lives in isolation on a farmstead under siege by a supernatural force attracted by any sound or noise. An intriguing conceptual horror movie starring and directed by John Krasinski, with the characters so devoted to keeping silent that they communicate almost entirely in sign language.

The New Mutants

April 13th

Since the release and success of Deadpool, the X-Men franchise has been going into some unique and interesting directions. With this iteration giving us a super powered horror movie that feels more like A Nightmare On Elm Street in nature. The story following a group of young, super-powered mutants held at a secret hospital where an unknown force stalks them.

The Nun

July 13th

Another spin-off in The Conjuring franchise based around the demonic nun of the last film. This story, set in 1952, follows an investigation into a nun’s suicide by a Vatican priest and another nun.

Alita: Battle Angel

July 20th

After over a decade in the making, the cyberpunk action horror manga is being brought to stunning life by Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron. The story follows, Alita, a discarded cyborg brought back to life by a kindly scientist in a dystopian junk city rife with criminals and cybernetic monsters.

The Predator

August 3rd

The alien species of hunter-warriors return in a big way with this brand new sequel. Directed by Shane Black, who had a supporting role in the original, and co-written with Fred Dekker of Monster Squad and Night Of The Creeps.

August 10th

What’s worse than a great white shark? How about a 70 foot long, prehistoric Megalodon Shark! The long delayed adaptation features Jason Statham as an expert diver sent to save the crew of a submersible sunk by the ancient beast.

October 18th

Michael Meyers returns to the big screen in 2018 for the first time in years along with some familiar faces and potential victims. Details are scarce, but the plot follows Laurie Strode (Played again by Jamie Lee Curtis) as she returns to Haddonfield, and an eventual confrontation with Michael Myers.

October 26th

A duo of American soldiers end up shot over enemy lines in Nazi occupied Normandy and find a village rife with supernatural evil unleashed by the enemy. Much of this project has been left a mystery, as is trademark by producer J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot Productions, but the sliver of premise given sounds interesting. And could this be another secret link in the Cloverfield franchise?
