Forebode Golf has announced the first officially licensed Terrifier golf collection, and it is exactly as unhinged as that sentence sounds. Polos, hats, a golf glove, a driver headcover, and a ball marker — all stamped with the grinning face of horror’s most gleefully sadistic clown. Pre-orders open Monday, September 1, and the window is short: the pre-order runs only through midnight on September 5, with delivery landing in mid-October, right on schedule for Halloween.

This is genuinely uncharted ground. Terrifier has become a merchandising machine over the last few years — tees, masks, figures, replicas, the works. But Art the Clown has never had officially licensed golf gear. Not a polo. Not a headcover. Nothing. Forebode Golf is first through the door, and they didn’t do it quietly.

Who Is Forebode Golf?

If you’ve never heard of them, Forebode is a performance golf apparel brand built around a premise every weekend hacker will recognize immediately: golf is a horror movie you paid to be in.

Their slogan says it plainly — “You’re not bad at golf. You’re cursed.”

The brand’s whole thesis is that golf’s traditional apparel aesthetic doesn’t match the actual emotional experience of playing golf. As founder Robby puts it, the reality is that most golfers spend more time in the rough than they ever do in the fairway. So Forebode leaned into the darker side of the game: skulls, bone-white color palettes, and designs that look considerably more at home at a midnight screening than at a country club member-guest.

Which makes a Terrifier team-up feel less like a gimmick and more like an inevitability. Art the Clown is a character who shows up uninvited, ruins your day, and grins about it. So does a downhill lie in a fairway bunker.

The Collection

Eight pieces make up the launch, and the range is broader than a typical horror apparel drop — this is actual golf equipment, not just graphic tees with a logo slapped on.

The Polos — $64.99 each

Four polos anchor the collection, all built on the same performance platform: four-way stretch, moisture-wicking, lightweight and breathable, sized XS through 3XL. Forebode is specific about the construction — the fabric doesn’t shrink and the prints don’t bleed, which matters when your shirt is largely a blood-splatter pattern and you’d like it to stay that way.

THE TERRIFIER is the headline piece: a white performance polo with an all-over blood-splatter print running across the collar, sleeves, front and back, with an embroidered Forebode skull and TERRIFIER chest branding. The brand’s own tagline for it is perfect — “Clean enough for the clubhouse. Disturbing enough for Art.”

ART has a lot going on the closer you look. It’s a light grey polo covered in a chaotic microprint assembled from Art’s most recognizable looks and props — his face, the sunflower eyes, the Santa hat, the trash bag, the hacksaw. From across the fairway it reads as a busy pattern. From four feet away it reads as a war crime.

THE MILES COUNTY CLOWN is the boldest of the four: vertically contrasting black-and-white panels with reversed sleeves, plus two oversized black pom-poms on the front center, directly referencing Art’s costume. Its tagline — “Dress for the course. Kill the dress code.” — is doing some heavy lifting, because this shirt is going to start conversations at the starter’s box.

For anyone who loves that split design but isn’t ready to commit to torso pom-poms, there’s THE MILES COUNTY CLOWN (NO POM), the same polo with the pom-poms removed.

The Accessories — $12.99 to $34.99

ART THE HAT ($34.99) is a white hat with an embroidered, blood-covered Art the Clown patch, a blood-red rope accent, and red embroidered detailing on the side. It’s adjustable, with a moisture-wicking blend and an interior sweat-resistant lining — breathable and lightweight enough for an August round in the South.

ART’S HANDIWORK ($29.99) might be the sharpest concept in the whole collection. It’s a golf glove — crisp white, all-over blood splatter, contrasting black fingertips, Forebode skull on the wrist. Available in M or L, left or right hand. The product page tagline: “Get a grip. Art’s already lost his.”

Art Head Cover – Order Here

ART HEAD COVER ($29.99) puts Art’s face front and center across a blood-splattered white driver cover, with the reverse side kept cleaner — just scattered blood detailing and the Forebode skull. Soft protective interior, secure fit for a standard driver head.

Art’s Grin Hat Clip Ball Marker: Order Here

Rounding it out, ART’S GRIN HAT CLIP BALL MARKER ($12.99) is the low-commitment entry point: Art’s grin on a hat clip and marker set, and the easiest way into the collection if you’re not spending $65 on a polo.
