The fifth Scream in the franchise is getting much closer to release. And, we are even closer to the teaser trailer for the film which is set to drop sometime this week. Well, to hold of the hunger and to whet our horror appetite, we have a few photos from the awesome folks at EW.

The photos introduce us to the the classic characters as well as the new class of characters. Of course there is also a very cool shot of Ghostface lurking in a hallway. I’m particularly fond of the bad boy, Kyle Gallner with his hot rod. It’s totally meant to throw of our who is the killer barometer. He has a very Skeet Ulrich look to him, so he must be the red herring. I ain’t falling for it.

Along with the photos and new poster, is the new logline, “It’s always someone you know”. A truly creepy line since that is exactly what police say to the victim when a crime has been committed. Cause, the people we know are the ones who hurt us. Strangers don’t give an eff.

The classic characters are of course older now, but they all look really great. David Arquette has that grey fox, zaddy vibe going on with his new look.

What do you think about the new photos from Scream? Let us know on our Facebook or Twitter pages.
