When it comes to exploring Lovecraft in film Barbara Crampton has become a cornerstone. From Re-Animator she has constantly visited the worlds of Lovecraft. Sacrifice is pretty on the nose when it comes to the mythos. It directly refers to “The Slumbering One” and we HP fans sure as heck know what that is in reference to.

Sacrifice is directed by Andy Collier and Tor Mian. It stars Barbara Crampton, Dag Sorlie, Erik Iundin, Jack Kristiansen, Johanna Adde Dahl and more. It’s inspired by the short story, Men of the Cloth.

Sacrifice lands in select theaters on February 5 and On Demand February 9. Additionally, it releases on Blu-ray on Feb. 23.

James Wan’s Malignant receives a R rating. Read more here.
