Pedro Pascal is our darling. We love him. His most recent work in The Last of Us has made sure that we will pretty much always love him. Well, it looks like he loves the horror genre too. He has already taken up his next project. According to THR, Pascal has joined the cast of Weapons, a follow-up to the very popular horror experience, Barbarian.

Zach Cregger’s departure from comedy in The Whitest Kids You Know was a huge step in horror. Barbarian managed to tear up box office records and made a name for the director. Cregger quickly became Hollywood’s fave, since he works within cheap confines and comes up with some pretty off-beat horror.

While the story for Weapons is being kept under wraps for now, THR did tease that the film would be something like Magnolia with plenty of multi-tiered stories all tying themselves together.

Well, that already sounds like a wild experience, y’all. I’m certain that Cregger has more up his sleeve than a Magnolia clone and has something off-beat and horrific planned. But we have to wait and see.

Are you excited to see Pascal in Creger’s Barbarian follow-up? Let us know in the comments section.
