The next entry of Scream has officially received its title. Drum roll, please. The next Ghostface slasher is titled Scream VI. On top of that alread slasherific news, we also know that Scream VI’s trailer also gets its big release tomorrow.
This is a little confusing considering that the previous release was titled “Scream.” We assumed that this entry would go big with a larger title similar to Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends following 2018’s Halloween. However, that is not the cast at all here. We are jumping from plain ole’ Scream to VI.
But, I digress. The new title isn’t the only thing to get excited about, y’all. Tomorrow also marks the release of ScreamVI.
The new trailer is premiering alongside Babylon in theaters and will also be released online for all of our horror-adoring eyeballs.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett‘s film will follow the survivors of the previous Scream film into New York City.
The synopsis for the previous Scream release went like this:
Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, Calif., a new killer dons the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.
We can’t wait to see what the new Scream film has in store for us. The new teaser is said to have a runtime of about one-whole minute.
