The new Predator film titled Prey is on the way with an official poster and title. The working title on the film was Skulls which was pretty cool considering its the object the Predator collects, but Prey is much cooler.
The film, Directed by Dan Trachtenberg and from a screenplay by Patrick Aison made a big appearance at Disney+’s Day Event. The film is set 300 days ago in Commanche Nation. If you recall, the trophy given to Danny Glover’s character at the end of Predator 2 was a pistol marked “1715”. We are thinking this might be the weapon that strikes a killing blow on a Predator in Prey .
Naru, a skilled female warrior who fiercely protects her tribe against a highly evolved alien predator.
Both Amber Midthunder (Roswell, New Mexico) and Dane DiLiegro (American Horror Stories) star in Prey. DiLiegro will play the Predator… or at least he will be inside the suit. The dude is 6’9 and will make for a nice and enormous Predator. Kevin Peter Hall played the Predator opposite Arnie and made for quite the giant adversary.
Trachtenberg blew us away with 10 Cloverfield Lane. So, we are hoping for more of the same with Prey.
An all-new entry in the @Predator franchise, “Prey” is set in the world of the Comanche Nation 300 years ago. See the original film directed by Dan Trachtenberg (“The Boys,” “10 Cloverfield Lane”) only on @Hulu in 2022. pic.twitter.com/3A3KSiWoqn
