We are almost two months away from the premier of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Universal has just released the film’s third and “final” trailer.
Jurassic World built the premise of artificially constructing dinosaurs and crossing their genes to make hybrid killing machines: enter Indominous Rex.
Indominous proved to be a sadistic and ravenous creature, hunting humans and other dinosaurs for sport. Universal has teased the successor, the Indoraptor, previously described on iHorror as the visual cross-breed between a Velociraptor and a Xenomorph.
The newest trailer for Fallen Kingdom is gives anxious fans a more defined look at the newest hell spawn of Ingen. After seeing a Mosasaurus nearly devour a surfer, the trailer gives us a clear full body view of the Indoraptor.
Ingen’s newest weaponized GMO stalks down Owen (Chris Pratt) and is twice the size of its tamed raptor cousins from Jurassic World, sporting claws and teeth nearly the size of adult human forearms.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – set to release on June 22 – is directed by J.A. Bayona and written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. It’s also been announced that Jurassic World 3 (unofficial title) will release June 11 of 2021, also directed by Colin Trevorrow.
To supplement the time between the two films, the park building simulator Jurassic World: Evolution will be released on June 12.
