A movie trailer has dropped for a mysterious horror film that hasn’t revealed its title. The film is being released by film company Neon. The teaser trailer titled “That’s Not My Daughter”, plays a creepy 911 call where a man says that’s not my daughter. It then cuts to a mysterious picture and leaves us with no title or anything. The film company Neon is known for horror films like Parasite (2019), Pig, The Lodge, and many others. They have quite a few horror films slated for this year, including the It Follows sequel They Follow, Longlegs which stars Nicolas Cage, Immaculate starring Sydney Sweeney, and Cuckoo.
While we are left to ponder which horror film it will be, there are a few clues in the trailer that help point out what it could be. In the image below, the person is seen with a long pair of legs which would indicate it could be the horror film Longlegs. Also, the vibe of the teaser gives off crime scene/killer vibes which would go hand in hand with what the film is about.
The film Longlegs follows the story of “FBI Agent Lee Harker who is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes an unexpected turn, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again.”
The movie is being directed by Oz Perkins who is the son of Anthony Perkins (Psycho Series). He is known for his films Gretel and Hansel (2019) and The Blackcoats Daughter. The film stars Nicolas Cage (The Pig, Renfield), Maika Monroe (It Follows, Watcher), Alicia Witt (Urban Legend, Dune), and many others.
